The government of Punjab is benefiting the people of every class under the Solar System Scheme. Ms. Maryam Nawaz said that up to 200 electricity consumers will provided with the free solar system. While 200 to 500 electricity consumers will be provided solar panel systems in easy installments. Interest-free easy loans for solar systems will be provided to electricity consumers of more than 500 units. About 45 lakh domestic users will be able to benefit from this game.
The Punjab government will pay 75% interest on the interest-free loan for the provision of solar systems. Household consumers of 50 to 100 units will be provided with one kilowatt solar system and 200 to 300 consumers will be provided with 1100 watt solar system.

Under the free solar scheme, consumers have to register themselves to get a solar system. Customers who want to avail of the scheme will register themselves through SMS. For registration, you need to send your correct National Identity Card number and electricity bill reference number to 8800. Under which you will registered in this scheme. Eligibility will be assessed after the registration process is completed. In which solar system will be provided on a merit basis.
